Necron Lord

Alex got me a Necron Lord with Resurrection Orb (off the internet I think) because I was complaining about how none of the stores around here had the model with the rez orb, and I wanted to be at least mostly accurate to my army. I think it was supposed to be a 2nd late birthday present or a sorry you have to start school soon consolation gift. Either way, I let it sit around forever until I got around to painting it one day, then let it sit around even longer until I took pictures.

Madicon

I offered to do a workshop on basic miniature painting for my local gaming convention Madicon, which I am very excited about. Madicon is being held at James Madison University March 12th to 14th and will have all sorts of video games and tabletop games and whatnot, I'll post more details when it gets closer.

October Contests

I won 1st place in the Master Class Reaper Miniature Painting Contest at Lost Shade again last month with my Khong-To Reptus Warlord. Definitely my best Reaper mini so far!

I also won 2nd place in the Warhammer 40K Conversion Contest, the theme was Halloween and Space Wolves, so I made a Headless Horse Marine the day before it was due. Didn't want to show the picture on account of just how horrible a job I did.
